HAVE YOU EVER considered being a pastor or deaconess? If so, Rev. Kyle Castens from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis would like to meet with you at Shepherd of the Valley on Wednesday, Jan. 25th any time between 4:30 and 7 pm. Rev. Castens is interested in meeting with prospective seminary students of all ages - elementary school age through adults who are already employed in another vocation. Conferences are individual, informal, and family/friends are welcome. Reservations are not necessary, but strongly encouraged. To scheduling a specific conference time, call Pr. ANNIVERSARY SOUP & SANDWICH LUNCHEON: We’ll be celebrating two anniversaries on Sunday, January 29th - the 10th anniversary of our Lutheran Braille Worker Station #197 and the 31st anniversary of Shepherd of the Valley. Join us for soup and sandwiches on Sunday, January 29th after the 10:45 service at approximately 12:15 pm as we celebrate these two occasions with a fellowship luncheon. Sign up on the clip board if you plan to come.
